Travel Consultant

Job Description

You job scope will include having to:

  • Respond to enquiries for customised holiday planning services
  • Attend to clients
  • Plan customised holiday itineraries
  • Create quotations and handle relevant paperwork

We are searching specifically for candidates with all or some of the following attributes:

  • Extensive travel experience – please cite cities where you have previously travelled to
  • Experience in planning their own holidays, or holidays for others
  • Air ticketing experience and knowledge of GDS systems is a bonus, but not essential
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Good telephone etiquette
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Must exude confidence when meeting with clients
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Resourcefulness

Reservations Specialist

Job Description

Your primary role will be to support Travel Consultants with reservations work and to assist the Sales Director with administrative tasks.

You job scope will include having to:

  • Make travel reservations such as hotels, car rental, day tours, private tours, etc
  • Correspond and liaise with vendors
  • Archive all invoices and documentation of case files
  • Prepare documentation for delivery to clients

We are searching specifically for candidates with all or some of the following attributes:

  • Extensive travel experience – please cite cities where you have previously travelled to
  • Experience in planning their own holidays, or holidays for others
  • Air ticketing experience and knowledge of GDS systems is a bonus, but not essential
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
