About Ecuador

A country brimming with natural beauty, Ecuador is a wildlife lover’s paradise. Besides the famous Galapagos Islands, regarded as one of the foremost destinations to encounter a variety of exotic animals such as giant tortoises, marine iguanas and other rare species, the South American destination is also peppered with glaciers, the Amazon rainforest and even two active volcanoes. And you’ll surely not want to miss the cloud forests, a breathtaking realm where cloud mists float over treetops and flora and fauna are known to thrive.

At the foot of a volcano is where you will find Quito, the enigmatic capital of Ecuador. The UNESCO World Heritage Site only 22 kilometres away from the Equatorial Line sprawls beneath Andean peaks and is known for its beautiful churches and monasteries. Delve into the heart of the historic city on a private tour before taking a day trip out to a lively market, where you can browse brightly-coloured handicrafts meticulously created by the indigenous people. Outdoor enthusiasts will jump at the idea of scaling the peaks for remarkable views or snorkelling at one of several islands, including Santa Fe and San Cristobal. You may even encounter sea lions frolicking alongside you during your water excursions!

We would like to thank you for helping us organise this recent trip which was meant for a very important celebration -- our 10th Wedding anniversary. Janncy & Soh Ping – February 2015
