Destination of Choice: Spain; Barcelona, Seville, Marbella, Granada

Yes it’s great to be back home although I really do miss Spain – the lifestyle, the weather, the food … oh so good :) The trip was really good, I’m so glad we did the little road trip and stopped by Ronda, although I wish we had more time in Ronda.

The tapas tour was fantastic. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and not only talked about tapas and cooking, he gave us a little tour of the city – covered the Jewish Quarter and just the outskirts of Born. Brought us to several stores that are over 100 years old too, that was quite nice.

The hotel in Barcelona is wonderful. Really cosy, and very good service. The hotel in Seville was absolutely lovely and you were right, very good location. Gran Melia was great; I lament not eating at their in-house restaurant (can’t remember the name) .. they just got two Michelin stars! Arghhhh … Granada’s hotel is quite quirky, but I loved it.

Hmm I could probably go on and on but it’s lengthy enough as it is so I ought to stop here.

Anyway, I’ve posted something over – keep a look out for it k!

P.S.: we’re looking at the photos now and boy, am I really glad we took up yr suggestion to go down to the coast. The road trip – Ronda, Marbella, Granada … absolutely worth it. Fantastic.
