Destination of choice: Thailand and Cambodia
In Bangkok we had a very good guide, Mrs Sue Sipasiri. She understood very well our interests. We had a great time with her.
The hotel in Phnom Penh was fantastic. It’s small and very personal. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We all liked this small hotel very much. Everything was prepared to be wheelchair-accessible even though they were informed only one day before. The programme was very interesting and very well explained by the guide.
The journey to Kampong Thom was interesting. We were happy to go by car to see the daily life and stop whenever we wanted.
The accommodation in Siem Reap was also a nice surprise. I must say the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I hope to go back to this hotel one day.
Anyway, as we had two assistance guides, the driver and the guide who also helped to carry Mr Negro’s chair on the temples, we were very happy. This will be unforgettable for us and without them it wouldn’t have been such an extremely good experience. The guide was fantastic.
We liked very much the tour to Tonle Sap.
Thanks a lot for the perfect organisation of this tour. We know it’s not easy to organise this kind of tour with somebody in a wheelchair but we realised that the people in Asia are all ready to help.
